ASPR TRACIE TECHNICAL RESOURCES CENTER
The ASPR TRACIE Technical Resources domain is comprised of two components: the Resource Library and Topic Collections. Topics range from Active Shooter to Workplace Violence. The Resource Library includes resources from numerous databases from the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and other government agencies. It contains up-to-date disaster medical, healthcare system preparedness, and public health emergency preparedness materials. Collections include the most robust and most useful peer-reviewed and other public and privately developed materials (e.g., fact sheets, technical briefs, articles, toolkits, webinars, and plans) helpful to stakeholders in improving healthcare system preparedness and resilience. |
FLORIDA SERT TRAC
SERT TRAC is the State Emergency Response Team Training Resources and Activity Center is the statewide emergency management learning management system. These courses are provided by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) to keep responders advised of events and training opportunities throughout the state. THE NATIONAL DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS CONSORTIUM
The NDPC is a partnership of several nationally recognized organizations whose membership is based on the urgent need to address the counter-terrorism preparedness needs of the nation’s emergency first responders within the context of all hazards including chemical, biological, radiological, and explosive Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) hazards. The consortium is made up of seven members, including the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Alabama, the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech), Louisiana State University’s National Center for Biomedical Research and Training/Academy of Counter-Terrorist Education (NCBRT/ACE), Texas A&M University Engineering Extension Service’s National Emergency Response and Recovery Training Center (TEEX/NERRTC), the Department of Energy’s Nevada Test Site (NTS), the Transportation Technology Center, Inc. DBA MxV Rail (MxV Rail)/Security and Emergency Response Training Center (SERTC), and the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center at the University of Hawaii (NDPTC). |
THE CENTER FOR DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS (CDP)
The Center for Domestic Preparedness provides advanced, all-hazards training to approximately 50,000 emergency responders annually from state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, as well as the federal government, foreign governments, and private entities, as available. The scope of training includes preparedness, protection, and response. Training of state, local, tribal, and territorial responders is fully funded by the Department of Homeland Security. Training of federal, foreign, and private sector responders is on a fee-for-service basis. Since it opened its doors in 1998, the CDP has trained more than 1.1 million responders. |
FEMA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (EMI)
The Emergency Management Institute’s (EMI) Curriculum Management Branch offers the Independent Study Program (ISP). This is a distance learning program which offers training, free of charge, to the nation’s emergency management network and the general public. It serves as both an alternative means to deliver valuable training to the professional and volunteer emergency management community as well as an opportunity to improve public awareness and promote disaster preparedness nationally. The Independent Study Program currently offers over 200 training courses via their training website. |
TEEX – Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services
As part of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium and home to the National Emergency Response and Recovery Training Center, TEEX has been leading homeland security training since 1998. Major TEEX programs include firefighting, EMS and rescue; infrastructure and safety; law enforcement; economic and workforce development; cybersecurity; product development and evaluation; and homeland security. |
NETEC - NATIONAL EMERGING SPECIAL PATHOGENS TRAINING AND EDUCATION CENTER
The National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center’s mission is to set the gold standard for special pathogen preparedness and response across health systems in the U.S. with the goals of driving best practices, closing knowledge gaps, and developing innovative resources.
